The Dune Adventure
This route explores the magnificent landscape of Namibia - a beautiful country of extreme contrasts, vast colourful deserts, dunes, almost extra-terrestrial rock formations, great game reserves, delightful coastal towns with old world German hospitality, bushman settlements and the wind vitality of the south Atlantic seaboard. Add to this 3 days to enjoy and explore the many splendours of Cape Town where the tour starts or ends.

The Good Hope Adventure
This journey offers an amazingly comprehensive view of South Africa taking in the internationally regarded "must see" locations. As the train travels the length and breadth of the country guests can enjoy the great variety of landscapes, shorelines, cultures and lifestyles that the "Rainbow Nation" has to offer.

The Southern Cross Adventure
This 16 day journey travels across six countries. The route is carefully crafted to deliver stunning experiences every day. The train travels leisurely between Victoria Falls and Johannesburg making numerous calls at destinations in Mozambique, Swaziland, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa.   • When booking double cabins (Ivory, Gold or Emerald) for single use, a “double cabin” rate will apply.
  • Children of 12 years and under can only be accommodated if sharing a compartment with ONE PLUS package adult and will therefore pay 60% of the per person sharing price on the PLUS rate. The second adult will be accommodated in their own cabin on a PLUS rate package. Children over the age of 12 years are regarded as adults and will be charged accordingly.
  • The activities and rates for “Specialized Activities” are subject to availability and change without prior notice.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour price is required in order to secure space on any of the departures.
  • The balance is payable no later than 43 days prior to departure of the tour
  • The Company reserves the right to cancel any reservation for which the total fare has not been paid by the due date, in which case the deposit will be forfeited.
  • Full payment is required within 48 hours of confirmation for all bookings made within 43 days of arrival.
  • It is the responsibility of the Traveler to ensure that details of the confirmation are correct
  • In the event of cancellation for any reason whatsoever, such notice of cancellation should be given in writing and in such instances, the 20% deposit will be forfeited. In addition, the following cancellation charges will apply:
  • 43 days or more prior to train departure…..No additional cancellation fee
  • 30 days prior to train departure:..........…….25% total cancellation fee
  • 22 days prior to train departure:.........…….50% total cancellation fee
  • 0 days prior to train departure:............……..80% total cancellation fee
  • All Travelers will be personally responsible for ensuring that they are in the possession of correct travel documents.
  • Travel documents include: passports for entry into all the countries being visited as part of the booked itinerary
  • Travel documents include: visas/re-entry permits valid for the countries being visited … It is highly recommended that Travelers confirm and arrange these prior to leaving their home country. In some instances such documents can be arranged on board the trains, in which case costs incurred are for the passenger’s own account.
  • Travel documents include: health, foreign exchange and other legal requirements.
